Research overview

Our group is interested in theoretical study of radiation-matter interaction, applied to the field of quantum optics and
quantum information. The principal topics of research include foundations of quantum mechanics and measurement theory,
schemes for decoherence
control, engineering of quantum states and implementation of quantum information processes.
These and other topics are developed in several physical systems, among them cavity QED, circuit QED, ion traps,
Bose-Einstein Condensates, optical lattices and running wave fields.
